Wisconsin Lions
District 27-B1 Officer Training

Attention new officers

There will be open concept training session for incoming Lions club officers Tuesday, July 31st in the The Loft on the 3rd floor of the Mead Public Library, 710 N. 8th St, Sheboygan 53081. The trainers will be available from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm to share knowledge and tips with these club officers.

The district is reaching out to incoming club presidents, vice presidents, secretaries, and treasurers as well as outgoing presidents and incoming zone chairs. Club Service Chairs (a new officer position) are also welcomed. Other interested Lions are welcome to attend.

New this year is the MyLion App that will allow better and easier reporting of activities by more people. Come and learn how to navigate this new app.

Trainers will include past district governors Merle Strelow and Tom Berendes. Also, Rose Berendes (MyLCI district coordinator), Bonnie Strelow (incoming co-GST coordinator).
While the trainers will be available for 4 hours at the library, the time required for a visiting officer is as little or long as you would like, so people can feel free to come and go.

We ask that those officers with a laptop, iPad, or smartphone, please bring it along so that they can practice and train with accessing Lions International website and resources during the training.

We also ask that all those planning to attend, please notify Rose Berendes at or 608-792-0664 to indicate who is coming from your club and when you expect to arrive.
